St Regis Bali became famous this year because this hotel was chosen by United Arab Emirates king, King Salman bin Abdulaziz as a place to stay last March. He booked the whole hotel only for him & his entourage.
A private beach wedding was always be my dream wedding. Very intimate, standing in the nature, seeing sunset, etc etc. This was also my first experience an intimate beach wedding.
As we came late, we missed the tea ceremony because we weren’t told to attend the ceremony. Well, some miscommunication happened. We arrived after the ceremony ended. While we were waiting for the dinner area to be prepared, all of the guests stayed at the hotel foyer area, 10mins walk from the dinner venue. We enjoyed cocktails and some light snacks served by the waiters while listening to acoustic songs sang by My Ngurah. His voice was very very beautiful! I think he sang better than Adam Levine. :p He is a local Balinese, so if you plan your wedding in Bali, you could give a try to contact him via whatsapp at +62 813 383 22 563.
It was 6PM when the fire attraction started. The fire attraction was the pre-entertainment before all the guests go to the wedding venue. This was my first experience watching this attraction.
Let’s go to the wedding dinner venue ~
My family sat at table number 8 with another cousin’s family.
The photobooth area was located at the beach. While we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, we visit the photobooth. They provided some colorful sandals for those who don’t want to dirty their shoes. How thoughtful they are!
I couldn’t get any good angle to capture Ivan & Janice that night. But I know they were very blessed & grateful with their big day. 🙂
These are some of our photos from the event
What was your best wedding celebration? For me, this was the best because I love the ambiance, very intimate with simple decoration . ❤
