Good morning! It was 06.38 in the morning, the view from our balcony! ❤
Bought the Lipton product from a minimart nearby. It was milk tea latte and it taste not too sweet and rich with milk. I love foods and I love going to minimarts or supermarkets. Most of the products in Japan’s minimarkets are so attractive that I felt I wanna buy them all! Including the ice creams! ❤
The morning situation around Itabashi
Today it will be our slow pace activity kind of day. After rushing and packed days before, this time we take it slow and relax. Daytime activity will be finding coffee shops that I’ve search before the trip while meet my best friend too who coincidentally come to Japan for holiday with family. We planned to meet at Omotesando Station which we will walk around to find our coffee shops.
Blue Bottle Aoyama
Qu’il fait bon Aoyama
Cafe Kitsune
Sadly to say, we found out that the coffee shops that we want to visit were closed. We understand that (it was 30th December 2016) most of the business closed due to year-end holiday. But still, we did not know when will we have time to come around here again. 😦
Issey Miyake store
Aoyama, one of the wealthiest district in Tokyo. Occupied with fashion stores, restaurants and cafes. Prada boutique, Comme des Garçons main branch, Max Mara, other well-known fashion boutiques located here.
Even though Aoyama is a modern and high-end district in Tokyo, we found two small shrines opposites of the fashion stores.
Found this tiny kiosk on the road side
Three of us decided to find another coffee shop which is located in Shibuya area. It’s Streamer Coffee Company. Hopefully it will open. 🙂
Let’s take a look what’s around Aoyama (on our way to Streamer)
It was quite a looooong way to go (please check the google maps, we started from Issey Miyake boutique to the coffee shop) Phew!
Ao Business Center
Crossing 5 Minami-Aoyama intersection, on Aoyama-dori
ELLE Cafe
The Taro Okamoto sculpture, ‘The Children’s Tree こどもの樹’
20 minutes walked, we did.
We were freezing cold waited outside haha
Finally we arrived at Streamers Coffee Company. It was closed when we arrived. Dang! It will open at 10AM. We needed to wait for another 45 minutes. Let’s see another post next week when we finally entered Streamers Coffee!
